Eric Morris (1921-1981), formerly of the Music Department of the University of Wales, Bangor. Born in Llanelli, educated at Llanelli Boys' Grammar School and the University of Wales, Aberystwyth where he graduated in music, he spent five years in the Royal Air Force, posted for most of that time in India where he gave recitals and concerts and was for a time in charge of the viceroy's plane. In 1949 he became music master at Ysgol Dyffryn Ogwen and afterwards resident violinist at Bangor. ...
